{"id":2154,"date":"2018-02-08T10:47:24","date_gmt":"2018-02-08T17:47:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/wp.natsci.colostate.edu\/cnsit\/?p=2154"},"modified":"2026-03-24T14:54:34","modified_gmt":"2026-03-24T20:54:34","slug":"mestrelab-campus-license","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cnsit.colostate.edu\/kb\/mestrelab-campus-license\/","title":{"rendered":"Mestrelab Campus License"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As of February 2018, the Department of Chemistry has funded a CSU site license for several MestreNova plugins.\u00a0 The following functionality is covered by this site license:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>NMR<\/li>\n<li>qNMR<\/li>\n<li>Reaction Monitoring<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Installing MestreNova<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To install MestreNova, simply download and install the latest version 14 installer from this URL: <a href=\"https:\/\/mestrelab.com\/download\/mnova\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">https:\/\/mestrelab.com\/download\/mnova<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Please note that versions newer than 14 will not work at the moment.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Installing License Files<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Once you have installed the current version of MestreNova, you will need to install the license files.\u00a0 First, download the following .zip file which contains the license files.\u00a0 Be sure to keep note of where this .zip file downloads to!\u00a0 Typically this is a &#8220;Downloads&#8221; folder, but might be the Desktop or other:<\/p>\n<p><em>Current License Files<\/em> &#8211; 01-13-2023 &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/cnsit.colostate.edu\/kb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/Mestrelab-Licenses-CSU-20230113.zip\">Click to Download<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Next, start the MestreNova application.\u00a0 On first load, MestreNova will prompt you to install license files.\u00a0 Click on the &#8220;install&#8221; button on this initial dialog window.<\/p>\n<p><em>For each license file needed, browse for and select that license file<\/em>.\u00a0 <em>This means you will need to repeat this for all 3 license files.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Once added, you will need to close and restart MestreNova for those licenses to activate.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Activating Advanced Plug-Ins<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In certain circumstances, some of the plug-ins used by these site licenses are not activated on default.\u00a0 To activate a plugin use the File-&gt;Advanced Plugins menu (&#8220;Modern&#8221;
