To standardize the naming of institutionally\/CNS owned devices within CNSIT, we will utilize the following standardized naming conventions. We are limited to 15 characters in the Windows-verse so we are forced to stick to this limit across all devices for consistency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
One should be able to decipher the following information when looking at the name of a device using these conventions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
