After resetting your CSU NetID password we occasionally hear from folks that their wireless devices have a hard time connecting back to the CSU-NET wifi while on campus. This is sometimes caused by an existing wireless profile for CSU-NET which is trying to use the saved password, which is now old. The simple trick to getting back in business is usually to remove this known network by manually “forgetting” it through some network settings. We have compiled a list of devices and operating systems to help you remove and reconnect to CSU-NET. Enjoy! <\/p>\n\n\n\n
On your laptop or PC, in the lower right corner of your screen you will see the wifi symbol (it maybe in the extended tool tray, click the little up arrow and the pop up menu will have the wifi icon). Left click on the icon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A list of wifi networks will pop up, find csu-net and right click on it. A drop down menu will appear, choose Forget Network<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Go back to the wifi icon and right click to bring up the wifi list<\/p>\n\n\n\n
csu-net will appear automatically in the list and choose connect <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Enter your your eid name and new password <\/p>\n\n\n\n
If it doesn’t connect, check if you are typing in your new password correctly <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a few seconds you will see the csu-net wifi network reappear.
