Adding a Secondary Device for DUO

Now that you have one DUO device registered for 2-factor authentication let’s get a second one setup so that if anything happens to the first device you’re not locked out of email or Teams!  Here are a few examples of good secondary devices to register.

  • If you have an office phone you can register it’s number.
  • A spouse/partner/friend’s phone number is also a good secondary device.
  • RamTech has hardware tokens that can be purchased which generate passcodes to that can be typed in.
